After 6 years of consecutive silvers... Despite Mr Lim DOUBLE CONFIRMING our silver after our performance... We've brought back glory to our school by achieving a GOLD! Well done, Shuqun Wind Orchestra!!!!
We had our fun, our little party and celebration, and we can even anticipate our overseas trip in the months ahead, but! Do not be too proud and complacent of our Gold award. Have what it takes to maintain and uphold it. As you know, the seniors are stepping down in preparation for their national examinations. You must not let the absence of your seniors to dishearten you because of "the lack of good players". GO OUT THERE, MAKE A NAME FOR YOURSELVES AND EVEN STRIVE YOURSELF TO BE EVEN BETTER THAN THEM! And who knows, by our 2013 SYF, we will have what it takes to achieve our first Gold With Honours.
Afiq, Sharifah, Howie (Me!!!!), Victoria, Xinman, Amirul, Farhan, Crystal* and Farah* (Sorry I couldn't find any group photos with the 2 of you inside!), ALL THE BEST FOR YOUR FUTURE ENDEAVORS AND DO WELL FOR YOUR N AND O LEVELS! Its been definitely been 4 - 5 amazing years in band. And this is definitely not the end of your band life! WE'RE GONNA MISS YOU!!!! ...How awkward of me missing myself haha.
And well, since the seniors are about to step down, this would probably be my last post on the Shuqun band blog.
So... Who's gonna be our next band major? Who's gonna be our new batch of excos and band committee? ONLY TIME WILL TELL!!!!!!!
